How Do We Find Friendship?

Prioritise your hobbies and/or find a new one. If you have let it lapse, start up again. Connect with other people who are interested in the same things. Find some groups that may have activities that interest you.

Say hello to a stranger, give them a compliment or ask a question – this takes courage, but who knows where it will lead.

Volunteering can be a fulfilling activity. Connect it to your hobby, or your passion, or skill set. Great way to meet new people and make lasting connections, while doing something of value for others.

Not ready yet? Take time for yourself. Discover what you enjoy. What sounds like fun? What would I try if I wasn’t afraid? Write it all down.
